We are all guilty of it; something overwhelming happens or a trauma and we try to bury our grief, our stress, our feelings over what’s happened. But, we can’t outrun our grief or trauma. Eventually it manifests in other ways, sometimes physically.
In today’s episode, I talk with Grief Coach Kelci Jager of Rise with Grief, & author of A Millions Miracles and the One That Didn’t Come.
Kelci’s journey through her own grief started with a car accident with her boys that led to a
discovery they didn’t expect. While trying to navigate that health crisis, her husband was then diagnosed with cancer. This interview is a poignant account of how significant trauma can truly make us feel lost unless we face it head on.
Kelci turned her grief into purpose. Formally a nurse, she now coaches others with passion and with faith. Listen now wherever you get your podcasts.

Why do I use pasta water?
Using pasta water adds a bit of salty and starchiness of the pasta. It rounds out the flavor of the nut milk. It’s my secret for great tasting Mac and Cheese:)
